Screven County Hospital, a 25-bed critical access general acture care facility, has served residents of Sylvania, Screven County and surrounding counties for more than 60 years.
With more than 100 employees, including dedicated doctors and nurses, the hospital provides inpatient and outpatinet acute care services, general surgey provided by rotational surgeons, diagnostic radiology, laboratory services, outpatient psychiatric services and emergency medical services.
After being operated since 1951 by the Screven County Hospital Authority, the hospital was sold to Community Hospital Management Co. or Savannah in December 2010.
Screven County Hospital is a Joint Commission (JCAHO) accredited hospital.
